You will be working in the NPL Investments Area of KRUK Group, headquartered in Wroclaw, Poland. We oversee the entire NPL portfolio investments activity of the group, from Business Plan creation, to implementation in each of our 6 active markets (Italy, Spain, Poland, Romania, Czechia, Slovakia). We work with the local Investments Teams, as well as with HQ stakeholders who are part of the overall investment process. Our activity ranges from international cooperation with all major financial institutions, financial advisors, competitors, and other market participants to internal reporting.
Outside the current international coverage, we also review expansion options on a regular basis, as it is in KRUK Group's strategy to constantly consider further European growth;
The team itself is headquartered in Poland, with one member working out of Spain. However, we are actually quite international, with nationalities ranging from Romanian, Belarusian, British and Brazilian.
Job description:
- Coordinate internal and external projects (e.g. cross country investment projects, commercial support to internal depts. external needs, etc.)
- Local/international business representation
- Participation in various contract negotiations (internal/external); contribution to various contracts drafting
- Sales/strategy project management
- Market information gathering
- Contact list expansion
- Contribution to the NPL Investments activity communication strategy
- Internal reporting
- Market research
Expectations:
- Proficient English; CV should be sent in English
- Current/past experience in an international environment
- A definitive advantage is a minimum 5 year experience in the NPL industry, whether it was in an NPL investment/management company or in the financial sectors (banking, non-banking, financial advisors) on positions related to trading NPL portfolios (whether on the Buy side, Sell side or Outsourcing side) similar to either of the following:
- Debt sales/Purchasing activities
- Strategy (sales activity or deleveraging plans)
- Advisory to financial institutions
- Or similar
- Experience in leading/actively participating to contract negotiations (internal/external)
- Commercial approach, easiness being a front person, ability to create & maintain relations with business partners
- Ability to represent KRUK Group at meetings & industry events
- Analytical mind is a must, as our activity combines the operational nature of this industry with the commercial needs
